The City of DeKalb will hold its 33rd Annual DeKalb Corn Fest on Friday, August 20th through Sunday, August 22, 2010 at DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport.

General Festival Information
Corn Fest is one of the last remaining free summer music festivals among Illinois music festivals and summer festivals in Illinois. Corn Fest is also one of the oldest summer music festivals in Illinois. Well over 120,000 people from around Illinois and the Midwest attend the music festival over a three day weekend. This festival is going to be the best of all the 2010 music festivals. Admission to the festival is free.
This festival features a carnival complete with rides and games, food booths, live music, craft show, kiddie korner with large inflatables, family entertainment and much more. Friday night is carnival wristband nights for the kids with unlimited rides from 6-10pm. Festival areas feature booths, craft fest and a beer garden.

Helicopter Ride Information
Helicopter rides will be available from Higher Ground Helicopters. Higher Ground Helicopters Flight Academy is an FAA Certified 141 Flight School and FAA Certified Commercial Air Tour Operator based in Middletown, OH conveniently located between the cities of Cincinnati and Dayton.
Volunteers Needed for Corn Fest
The Corn Fest board is looking for volunteers for their 2010 festival. There are positions available from directing the parking lot to helping guide people to the correct areas. We ask each volunteer to work a four hour shift. All volunteers will receive a Corn Fest t-shirt and 2 beer tickets for inside the beer garden.
