Opening Sunday for Travis Tritt: Madison County

Sunday from 1:30pm - 3:00pm
This 8-piece Country Show Band based out of Madison, Wisconsin, has been voted as “Madison’s Favorite Local Group of the Year” for the past 8 years, at the Q106 2000 – 2007 MCMA Awards Show and are action packed at each performance.
This high energy, very versatile band has five vocal parts, and just about every instrument in the country market (harmonica, steel guitar, dobro, lap steel, ganjo, piano, lead guitar, and acoustic guitar). They change their sound immensely throughout the night. Going from styles like Keith Urban to Johnny Cash - this band is extremely entertaining.
Augie and Mike Zibell, the uncle/nephew duo of Madison County, give the band very rich harmonies to go along with the sweet sounds of the pedal steel guitar, played by Leroy Deuster; keyboards, played by Dan Mahieu; and that Nashville style B-bender lead guitar, played by Doc Bromberg.
This band also carries a very solid country beat, much to the praise of drummer, Kevin Hendrickson, and bassist, Scott Mitchell. Fiddle, mandolin, and guitar are played by Lane “Curtis” Vendon, which is an added delight for the many styles they perform.
With 2 CD’s already released , they are awaiting their 3rd CD in hopes it will be out this summer of 2008.
They have found themselves on some Big Ticket Venues these past few years, with acts like Phil Vassar, Brad Paisley, Sugarland, Trace Adkins, Montgomery Gentry, Toby Keith and Rascall Flatts.
