Corn Fest Craft Fair and Farmer's Market

Welcome to the 3rd annual expanded DeKalb Corn Fest Craf Fair August 23 and 24, 2008

Hours:  Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Sunday 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

We’re excited about continuing this wonderful tradition at a classic DeKalb event.  The DeKalb Corn Fest has provided great food, fun, and free entertainment since 1977.  Over 100,000 people come to enjoy the festivities each year. A superb family event!

The Craft Fair will be located in a hanger on site of the Corn Fest which will be held at DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport.  The shuttle bus from downtown areas will stop in front of the hanger. All Corn Fest activities will be located at the Airport this year and next due to anticipated construction in downtown DeKalb.

At this time there are still openings for vendors who wish to sell at the event.  The arts and crafts will run Saturday August 23rd from 9:00 am to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday August 24th from 11:00 am to 4:00 p.m. You may download a Corn Fest Crafter's Application here. Here is an brief overview of our Crafter's rules:

• * Shuttle service to/from Corn Fest available from downtown locations
• * No duplication of commercial products, e.g., Tupperware, Pampered Chef, etc.
• * Crafts should be made by exhibiting artist
• * No pets, no skateboarding, no rollerskating
• * Crafter is responsible for all tax collection, reporting and payments
• * No refunds due to bad weather
• * Food will be available for purchase
• * Security provided
• * All proceeds go to support Music Programs in the DeKalb Schools
